Help with YOH POS.

Email hello@getyoh.com. Tell us the restaurant, the store and what you see on the screen. A photo of the screen helps. A person reads every email.

Add YOH POS to the Home Screen

YOH POS runs in Safari at pos.getyoh.com. On each iPad, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, and always open it from that icon. A normal Safari tab can clear the sales the iPad is holding.

Pair a new iPad

In the back office (office.getyoh.com), go to Setup, Devices and tap Make a pairing code. On the iPad, open YOH POS and type the 8‑character code. A code works once, for 15 minutes.

Someone forgot their PIN

A manager sets a new one in the back office: Staff & groups, tap the person, type a new PIN and save.

The internet is down

Keep selling. Each iPad keeps its own record and syncs when the internet's back. Kitchen screens get new tickets through the internet, so until it's back, use printed kitchen tickets or call orders through. Card machines need their own SIM to work without internet. Take the card on the machine and record it on the till, as always.

The power is out

The iPads run on their batteries. Put the router and the printers on a small UPS so printing keeps going.

The printer doesn't print

Check that it's on and on the same Wi-Fi as the iPad. On the till, tap your name, then Till settings, then Print a test page. YOH POS prints straight to Epson printers with ePOS built in (the TM-m30III, TM-m30II, TM-m30 and Epson's TM-i printers), and each iPad has to trust the printer once. No ePOS-Print setting on the printer's settings page? Then it can't print straight from YOH. Email us and we'll walk you through it.

The till asks to update

When the sign-in screen says New version ready, tap the button next to it on every iPad before service. It never updates mid-sale.

Your Wi-Fi

Your devices must be able to see each other on the staff Wi-Fi (client isolation off), so the iPads can reach the printers.

An iPad was lost or stolen

In the back office, go to Setup, Devices and tap Remove next to it. It can't reach your data again, and the next time it's online it forgets the store's PINs and guests and needs a new pairing code to come back. Until then it can still open offline, so give everyone at that store a new PIN straight away.

Try it without a restaurant account

On the first screen, tap Try the demo. It runs a demo pizza shop with made-up trading on that device only. To leave it, tap your name, then Till settings, then Leave the demo.
